Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to Nubia

  • Arrive in Aswan and transfer to Aro Kato Nubian House on Heissa Island
  • Check in, settle down, and take some time to rest
  • In the afternoon, head to Gharb Seheil to explore the village, wander through its local market, and experience the Nubian atmosphere
  • Return to the guest house for a relaxed first evening together
  • Overnight on Heissa Island

Day 02: Abu Simbel & New Year’s Eve

  • Start the day early at 4:00 AM, with breakfast boxes provided
  • Drive south to Abu Simbel, approximately three hours away
  • Enjoy a guided visit to the temples and discover the history behind one of Egypt’s most remarkable ancient sites
  • Return to Heissa Island for a late afternoon at leisure
  • Rest, enjoy the surroundings, or take a walk around the island
  • Gather for a special New Year’s Eve dinner and welcome the new year together
  • Overnight on Heissa Island

Day 03: A Slow Day on the Nile

  • Enjoy breakfast at the guest house and a relaxed morning at your own pace
  • Later, board our felucca for a slow sail along the Nile
  • Enjoy lunch on board and watch the landscape change as we sail towards sunset
  • Return to the guest house or head to the souq
  • Take time to relax, connect, and enjoy the simple moments
  • Overnight on Heissa Island

Day 04: One Last Morning

  • Enjoy your final breakfast and one last slow morning on Heissa Island
  • Check out from the guest house
  • Depending on your flight or train departure, join an optional lunch at Solaih or spend some time at the souq in Gharb Seheil or Aswan
  • Transfer back to Aswan Airport for your journey home
  • Transfer timing will be arranged according to the group’s departure schedule

  • Booking is only confirmed with a 50% deposit until Nov 20th or until fully booked
  • Full payment due Dec 11th

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Until November 20: Full refund 
  • From Nov 21 - Dec 10: 50% refund will be issued. 
  • From December 11 onward: No refund will be issued (or bring someone to replace your spot)
