Overview
The ultimate desert adventure awaits! Bahariya Oasis is the most accessible Oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert. It’s home to the famous White Desert, which looks like a different planet. This is one of our favorite and most exciting adventures for more than one reason; you’ll have to see for yourself.
Day 1
Departure from Cairo at 8.30 am; we’ll have two meeting points, one in New Cairo & one in 6th of October. We’ll arrive at our lodge at 1 pm. We embark with our 4×4 safari cars to our breakfast spot before starting our program.
We’ll visit the old Oasis first before heading to the scenic Salt Lake. Afterwards we’ll head to El Dest Mountain for an optional hike. Lastly, we’ll visit the English Mountain for an easy hike to experience a magical sunset. After some bedouin tea and snacks, we’ll head back to our lodge for dinner and chill for the rest of the night.
Day 2
After breakfast and check out, we’ll kick off our big day in the desert with an easy hike in the Black desert. For the second stop, we’ll explore Crystal Mountain. Up next is exploring Agabat Valley, where we’ll have lunch and try out some sandboarding. For the last stop before entering the White Desert, we’ll stop at El Gabal El Galidy.
Right before sunset we’ll enter the famous White Desert. We will set up our private camp for the night. After our BBQ dinner, we’ll enjoy a bonfire, bedouin night & some tea under the stars.
Day 3
Delicious breakfast will be served at our camp. We’ll enjoy a couple of hours of exploring the surrounding nature before heading back to our lodge. We’ll have some free time to freshen up before we make our way back to Cairo at around 1 pm.
