Colombia is a country of vibrant contrasts, from the lively streets of Medellín to the tranquil beaches of Bahia Solano. This journey takes you through colorful towns, lush rainforests, and along the Pacific coast where Humpback Whales gather each year.
It’s an experience that blends culture, adventure, and nature: discovering local rhythms, connecting with communities, and witnessing one of the ocean’s most powerful migrations up close.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Welcome to Medellín - The City of Eternal Spring

  • Arrive at José María Córdova Airport.
  • Transfer to our hotel and settle in after our long journey.
  • Optional: enjoy a cozy dinner at the hotel before resting.
  • Overnight in Medellín.

Day 02:  Medellín - From Transformation to Inspiration

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Start setting out on a full-day exploration of Medellín.
  • Visit Berrío Park and Botero Plaza, where art and people fill the city with color.
  • Take a Metrocable ride up to Santo Domingo commune, witnessing Medellín’s landscape unfold.
  • Return to our hotel to relax.
  • Overnight in Medellín.

Day 03: Medellín to Bahía Solano - Enter the Pacific Wild

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Transfer to Olaya Herrera Airport for your flight to Bahía Solano (15kg luggage limit).
  • Upon arrival, transfer to our lodge.
  • After lunch, take time to unwind: walk along the beach, dip in the Pacific, or simply enjoy the peaceful isolation of this remote paradise.
  • Dinner is served at the lodge.
  • Overnight in Bahía Solano.

Day 04: Whale Watching & Rainforest Magic

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Head out by boat for our first Whale-watching experience.
  • Watch Humpback Whales breach the surface: a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
  • Return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
  • Explore El Almejal Nature Reserve on foot, walking through trails alive with tropical sounds and scents.
  • Dinner at the lodge.
  • Overnight in Bahía Solano.

Day 05: Whales and Utría - A Symphony of the Seas

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Head out for our second Whale-watching adventure.
  • Continue to Utría National Natural Park, sailing through turquoise bays framed by rainforest-covered cliffs.
  • Take a gentle walk along the wooden boardwalk through mangroves, before relaxing on a white-sand beach.
  • Return to the lodge for dinner.
  • Overnight in Bahía Solano.

Day 06: Bahía Solano to Cartagena - From Jungle to Caribbean

  • Breakfast and check out before our transfer to Bahía Solano Airport for our flight to Medellín, then to Cartagena with another flight.
  • Arrive in Cartagena and transfer to our hotel.
  • Spend the evening exploring the colorful streets or enjoying dinner by the sea.
  • Overnight in Cartagena.

Day 07: Cartagena: The Jewel of the Caribbean

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Meet our local guide for a city tour of Cartagena: visiting Bocagrande, Castillogrande, and Manga, followed by San Felipe Castle and San Pedro Claver Church.
  • Continue with a walk through the Walled City, where pastel-colored balconies and cobblestone streets tell stories of centuries past.
  • Afternoon free to explore at our own pace.
  • Overnight in Cartagena.

Day 08: Rosario Islands - Caribbean Bliss

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Transfer to Bodeguita Pier for a speedboat ride to Rosario Islands National Natural Park.
  • A journey filled with the beautiful views of Cartagena Bay and the old fortresses of San Fernando and San José.
  • Enjoy an island lunch before returning to Cartagena by sunset.
  • Overnight in Cartagena.

Day 09: Cartagena to Bogotá - The Soul of Colombia

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Transfer to the airport for our flight to Bogotá. (not included)
  • Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Optional: join a tour to the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral, a breathtaking underground temple carved from salt and stone.
  • Overnight in Bogotá.

Day 10: Bogotá - Art, History & Farewell

  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Begin our guided city tour through La Candelaria, Bogotá’s colonial heart.
  • Walk along streets visiting; Art Museum of the Bank of the Republic, and explore the Gold Museum, home to one of the world’s finest pre-Columbian collections.
  • Stop by Bolívar Square, framed by the National Capitol and Casa de Nariño
  • Evening transfer to the airport for our international flight home

  • Secure your spot with a 50% deposit before May 15th.
  • Full payment must be received between May 16th - June 15th.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Until May 15th: Full refund
  • From May 16th until June 14th: 50% refund will be issued
  • From June 15th onward: No refund will be issued.

Travel Conditions

  • Safety: Safe within the hotel area; recommended to walk in groups
